I learned traditional piano for about 10 months before I started learning piano with my current piano teacher, Boi Ngoc Piano. I knew Boi Ngoc Piano from Youtube before I started learning how to play the piano, but I thought online learning must have been more difficult than learning in-person with a teacher, so I did not try Boi Ngoc Piano’s method at first. After 10 months of learning traditional piano, I realized that I was not good at sight reading (playing the piano while reading sheet music at the same time). I had always loved playing the piano, but I gave up. A year later, when I had more time and wanted to learn piano again, I found Boi Ngoc’s video on Youtube “Guidance for piano learning- from A to Z”. I was so happy to see that Boi Ngoc had Mentorship/Coaching Program via Zoom with her. I signed up for the one-year course. I completed it a few months ago. I love this Mentorship program so much. Boi Ngoc is an amazing piano teacher. She is able to teach me any song that I love to play. After a year of learning piano with Boi Ngoc, I can sit down at the piano and play many songs without looking at the sheet music, which I was not able to do before. I love to continue to learn piano with Boi Ngoc, so I signed up for another course. I highly recommend learning with Boi Ngoc Piano and trying her methods. She is the best!
